the launch on 3127

im looking to do a lil freshwater fishing anyone ever launch off of 3127 in hanville(i think) and fish the cananls that lead to lake des almonds? is it worth a shot? thnaks

I live in the area of that launch and those canals are only good for bream. If you run to the lake and fish the canals thqt feed in the lake you will have better luck there. I usually fish the Bayou Gauche and Des Allemands area and do really well all year long. If you want to go one day just contact me and I will let you follow me out there to show you a few spots. how far of a run is it to the canals that feed in the lake from a boat launch? i have a go-devil boat and it is kinda slow

even with a slow boat you can be in the lake in no more than 10 minutes.
