Best deer feed/attractants

I hunt a a 150 acre piece of land back in the swamp behind my neighborhood and I know there isn't a lot of vegatation back there. So I was wondering what would be the best attractant to throw out there like c mere deer or deer cane.

At this stage in the game, I would try corn or rice bran. Or to tell you the truth, I would put out both!

Don't waste your money on C-mere Deer. Its just souped-up rice bran. I would go with the rice bran. You can almost get 150 lbs of rice bran for what one little bitty bag of 'Hank Parker endorsed' C mere Deer will cost you. To many critters eat corn. The kool aid trick sounds like its worth a cheap try....I've never heard of it but will give it a try soon! Good Luck

grape kool-aid is cheap and you just pour it in a little pile on dry ground and believe it or not .... only bucks eat it. idk why

do you add sugar to the kool-aid pack or just pour the pack on the ground? Never heard of it but sounds interesting.

Yeah, do you use the Kool-Aid packs with sweetner, or just the old fashioned envelopes that require sweetening when you mix it? Sounds good; I will try it too - cheap enough.

well i say packs but it actually looks like a plastic can or something ya know.. and the ones i talking about are already sugar sweetended and you can get either the 19oz or 29oz containers..

Never heard of that before,,, reckon there's a lot of stuff deer like , that we are not aware of.

I am trying sweet feed from the Co-Op. I've heard it works well. I put out 100lbs. today. It's about 5.50 for 50lbs. Far less that rice bran. Good luck with whatever choice you go with.

I looked at a pack of come here deer at Wally world read the ingredients on it 1st ingredient was Rice Bran there was some other stuff like sucrose dextrose and stuff but thats just various forms of sugar one bag of come mere deer was like 25 bucks a sack of rice bran was less than 10 at the feedstore-----Needless to say I put the Come mere deeer back on the shelf.

I have used acorn rage, c'mere deer, rice bran, and corn all seem to work fairly well. I happened to search the web last night and found primos swamp donkey. Everyone that has used this stuff seems to love it. There are various forms pellets, crushed and some liquids. The liquids are getting poor reviews, however the crushed and pellet forms are getting 5 out of 5 stars on every review. I figure its worth a shot bought four bags today. Cabelas has it on sale right now.
