took a trip to the amite river the other day to do a little bass fishing. the weather was clear cool with a north wind and a little current , so i decided to do some deep cranking. it definetly paid off , ended the day with about 25 to 30 bass , even had a few small kentucky spots all of the bass were caught on bomber 4a and 6a cranks in the sexy shad and blue back herring colors, and a 4.5'' robo worm (morning dawn color) fished on a drop shot rig.... fished in 8 to 10 feet of water over rock piles and stumps along the drop offs( kept a limit to drop in the neighborhood pond for the kids to catch) hope this helps if your fishing in the area be safe and good luck fishing
