I had 2 really memorable experiences this year. First was in Oct, one of the best offshore trips I have ever been on. Took my little brother and his wife out and we caught and released snapper all day long out of Venice. Never seen action like this before on red snapper. We were catching them on the surface in a feeding frenzy one after another. We were trying to chum up Mangroves and got into reds and lemon fish. It was a feeding frenzy on the surface. My second would be taking my dad on his first ever deer hunt this year. After years of him not wanting to try hunting, I finally convince him. We hunted three days at my place, he missed one day and killed two big does on the other two days. He now loves deer hunting, has purchased his own rifle and cant wait for me to take him back. I hope everyone has a chance to take a kid (or dad) on their first hunt. It is something I will never forget. My pops excitement after he killed his first deer was priceless.
