Saucepicante Recipe
1 case cold Bud Light per person
1 cup veg oil
1 cup flour
4 large or 5 med vidalia onions diced
2 15oz cans tomato sauce
1 can diced tomato
1 can original rotel
2 bell peppers diced
3 cellery stalks diced
2 whole garlics diced
1 box Beef broth
3 bay leaves
Mushrooms
1 Bag of green onion
appx 2lbs of meat 1' cubed
Spaghetti or rice
Open and drink first beer. Next one every 20-30 minutes.
In a (minimum 12 qt) black iron pot heat oil over low fire. Add flour
and stir constantly until roux is a little darker than penut
butter...appx 1 hr...quicker on higher fire.
Add onions and stir frequently until browned down...appx 1/2 hr.
Add tomato sauce and stir frequently...appx 15 minutes.
Add diced tomato, rotel, bell peppers, cellery and garlic and stir
frequently...appx 15 minutes.
Add beef broth or water and bring to boil.
Add meat and bay leaves and stir occasionally with lid cracked...appx
3 hrs
Add mushrooms and green onions 30min before end.
Keep in mind if adding seasonings...Beef broth has salt and rotel is
spicy.
