Thinking About Buying A Gheenoe?

If you are considering the purchase of a new Gheenoe, take my advice and do not purchase it from Graves Gheenoe in Hattiesburg, Ms.

Mr. Graves has moved (retired) to Florida and left his niece in charge of selling his boats. I made the mistake of purchasing one about a month ago from Mr. Graves and picking it up from her house in Purvis, Ms. It has been a fiasco since day one. She didn't have to correct seats to go with the boat (tan camo boat, green seats), only had one seat mount, knew NOTHING about boats so I had to ask for everything right down to the bolts to install the seat bases, and didn't fill out any of the paperwork correctly.

To this day I am still trying to get the paperwork signed and notarized properly so I can register the boat here in Louisiana, and I am starting to wonder if she is ever going to take care of it without my having to drive back up there and dragging her into a notary office.

I hear there is a new dealership opening in Lafayette soon. If I had to do it over again I would either wait for it to open, or drive to the Gheenoe home store in Florida to purchase my boat.

Thanks for the info. Is there any more info on the possible location in Laffayett La?
Big Frank's in Ga? Was going to call them, if that was closest one?
