hog nest

Anyone else seeing these nest? We see them fairly often on my buddy's property near jeanerette.They are always made neat and clean with no mud in them, despite all the mud around them. I find it interesting to think that a wild hog would make a nest like this and keep it so clean. I will have to set up my trail camera over one.

I'm not sure about a hog having done that! never seen that before... let us know what u get on that trail cam cause that is strange looking...

I've seen several such 'nests' in the palmetto swamps of SW Livingston Parish. Good luck!

That is definately a hog nest. I've seen them plenty of times in Pearl River WMA. I've seen two of them in last several years while rabbit hunting with dogs that were full of little striped piglets. Both times a momma hog was runnning circles around us while we tried to keep the dogs from chasing the piglets.
