Water Conditions at Manchac / I-55?

Want to take the kids to fish along I-55 tomorrow. Anybody been lately? I am wondering if the muddy water from the Bonnet Carre Spillway is pushing back into that area.

It wasn't pushing back as of this morning, but with this southeast wind its hard to say what it'll look like tomorrow. If you fish around Ruddock you'll probably be fine.

Delayed response, but the water is high and muddy at manchac. Having no luck with the catfish. Only thing biting are big gar and sail cats.
