got my mojo back!

Reply
Me my son a a buddy made our way out this morning to where it all started to find my mojo and low and behold i finally got it back! We entered into a pond that i was scouting for our last tourney out of fourchon and redfish where everywhere as i expected them to be. We picked a few out and moved on down the bank when for the 3rd time this summer bull maina! Bull reds and slot reds where in the mix. There where hundreds over redfish jumping literally out the water! What ever u threw in there path the swallowed! My son caught his first redfish also and it was a bull. 31 inch redfish. We even got into some trout! Off the water at 1130 with 20 trout 12 redfish with a bunch close to 27 inches released and a doormat. Scouting back next monday for 2 days back where it all started for me!

Alot of ppl know me on here and know that i dont keep anything under the size limit. So if u dont know what ur talking bout or nutin good to say please keep ur comments to urself. I dont keep a trout unless hes 12 1/2 inches and redfish 16 1/2 inches. Think u commented on one of my posts a while back so if u dont like what u see just dont comment. Jealousy is prob part of ur problem.

I think your right scott, some people just cant catch anything so they have to belittle a man for a great day of fishing. JEALOUS is what he obviously is.

Dude! That is so awesome! The memories you made with your boy that day will outlive anything else you have, or will ever touch.

What a great story. Really happy for you.

PS - When are we going to have another fun tourney for the posters/regulars? I missed the last one and am looking forward to meeting you and many of the others.

Congrats again, and thanks for the post man, always a pleasure reading your stories.

Nightfisher, nice catch man. You should be proud of your son and he should be proud of you.
And don't worry about jls. Obviously his measuring tape is less than average.

As far as shaking my hand all we have to do is setup a fishing trip and its done bro! Mite have to make it in september tho for the tourney cause ive been on the louisiana saltwater series and my last stop is port fourchon on the 20th of this month.

looks like you guys had fun, and looks like his arms are hurting he can't pick them up off his lap, them bulls can put a hurting on a grown man, and wow looks like you couldn't ask for calmer conditions water is slick in the background

Yea after i netted that fish for him he didnt fish for bout 30 minutes lol. The whole school we found had all sizes from 25-31 inch fish. But when we started fishing for trout again he started slinging them in. Couldnt have asked for a better day on the water!

Nightfisher, to tell you the truth, I see a huge problem with your fish. I am by no means an expert bu the main problem that I see is that they aren't in my boat. I guess that makes me jealous and to be frank, I am. Work is seriously overrated especially when it takes away from my fishing time.

Seriously, great job with your son. My father first took me fishing when I was three and, over three decades later, the old man is still my favorite fishing partner. Keep making memories for your son that he will never forget.
