On Sunday, October 23, 11 we made a trip out of Grand Isle, not exactly due south, but toward WD 152. Did not want to have the LOOP boat run me down again! Fished behind the shrimp boats in 250' of water. Wow, did they have some sharks. The deckhand pushed the fish overboard and it reminded me of Jaws, except 20 to 25 of them. They were on the surface, mouth wide open gulping in the floating fish. On top of that, we caught our share of them on multiple boats, without seeing them. Wore ourselves out on sharks and bonita. We did manage to catch one Black Fin and one Yellowfin Tuna. It took over 40's of chum to do it. Seas were almost flat, but the Blue water was out past WD152.
