I drive a 2010 Chevy Z71 and about to level it out and get some new tires. I was wondering what kinds of tires you all have had good luck w/? I want a good aggressive tire that will be worth my money, thanks

Got right at 50,000 miles out of my last set of buckshots, I'm on another set now, just rotate them every 5 to 6 thousand miles to get good life out of them.

I had a set of Nitto Mud Grapplers. They are a little pricy, but look great & pull even better! I got great highway life out of them also.

I have had Awesome luck with these tires. I will never own another tire for my trucks. Put 70000 on a half ton, and 55000 on my Superduty. Traded both trucks in before the tires needed to be changed. I have 30,000 on the on my Tundra's now. AWESOME Tire.. I can't say enough about them.

Dunlop Mudkings are great tires on 1/2 ton truck, very agressive like the BFG MT's but way less in cost. They have a harder than normal rubber compund that lasts a long time. I got 60k+ on my 1/2t chebbie,, like any agrezzive tire, gotta rotate them properly.

I'll give you two suggestions. First, I put on Bilstein adjustable shocks on the front. I ordered them off of E shocks I believe. They have clips that look like piston rings that allows you to adjust up to about 2' in height and will level it out. WAY better shocks than factory and will solve two problems at once. Second, I put on 285/70/R17 BFG All Terrain KO tires. They were on my old truck and hold up great without being too loud. They are proven and not as expensive as Coopers but maybe a little more than the Nittos. Very good tire.

Hey Pale Rider how did your truck drive after installing the Bilstein Shocks and leveling it out?

Thanks

I would put a set of michelin ltx at2's on it. Great riding tire, put a little over hundred thousand miles on mine and still got more to go. Been on the road and thru the woods for 5 years.
Make sure to get the LT tire and not the P tire. You should never put passenger tires on a light truck.great tire especially if you have 4wd. It has plenty of grip offroad without the rumble and wah wah down the road.
