First Deer. First Buck!

My 8 year old son, Grant had a great day Saturday evening. This is his first year as a 'shooter'. He made a great 100 yard shot on this nice 8 pt while siiting on my lap. It was one of the best days of my life.
After the short tracking job and high fives and hugs he tells me: 'Dad, I will never forget this day for the rest of my life!'

My son killed his first deer this year too. There is no feeling in the world like it! I thought I was excited when I killed my first years ago, but when he killed his, the emotions were undescribable.

Some of my fondest memories are of the time my 20-year-old son and I have spent hunting and fishing, so I promise neither of you will forget! That is just a great experience and set of photos!
