Sherburne Duck Hunt

Showed up for the Tuesday lottery hunt this morning. 40 hunters vying for 4 blinds! We didn't get picked and what a blessing that was. We went to Section 120 Road and hunted in the timber. The birds worked so-so at first with none calling back. We had 2 MoJo ducks and a spread of about 4dz dekes but the kicker was when we hooked up a jerk-string. What a game changer! 3 of us took 3 Gadwalls, 3 Mottled, 2 Green Wing and 1 Blue Wing teal. Watching the birds work is most of the fun!

how's it goin I'm from eunice and I am gonna be hunting out of a boat blind for the first time second split and I was curious if you could tell me where would be a good place in sherburne to hunt a boat blind any help is apreciated

It's difficult to explain where this is but the open holes in the timber off of Section 120 road is a great place to hunt with a boat blind but you can also hunt standing in the water as we do.

Not sure I'd use the word open to describe anyplace in shurburne . If u really want to hunt out of a boat blind you might be better off going to indian bayou the area you can hunt out of a boat off sec 120 isn't very big for the amount of people that go there.
