Yeah they are a monster for shooting rabbits, coons, and squirrells. It is illegal to hunt deer with a rimfire rifle.

You beter read the law You have broken the law and put it web like you are proud of it.

hey kajun where did you see in the video any law that was broken???? All i seen was a useless test on a deer head not a live deer, nothing illegal about that, although it was pointless being as it is illegal to shoot deer with it, just cause some one is curious about what would happen doesn't mean he will actually go out deer hunting with a .17, 'I am not a lawyer i just play one on the internet' kind of like you playing an wannabe internet warden

I'm still hooked on 30 caliber bullets.
Am very impressed with my wife's 243win though. I think the 243 is the smallest that should be used, but do know some guys that have 22-250's for their young family members.
Oh, and of course the 38-55 and 45-70 for the primitive firearm season for me.

Hunter -- They never watched the video. They read the text of what you posted and thought you shot a live deer. Figured you would have gotten an apology by now.
FYI - you did say in the video that you might try it sometime. I'm sure you won't seeing as how you know it is illegal to shoot a live deer with a 17, which you clearly did not do in this video. Cool video by the way

I would never attempt to take a deer with such a small caliber. Just plain stupid.
