Congrats!
Hate to tell you, but that is the end of any other productive activity for you in March and April for the rest of your life! Haha, great job, and welcome to the insanity that is turkey hunting!

Trust me
All I know is that once you kill one, a fever starts burning in you! Even after I was tagged out, I still went in the woods 4 to 5 days a week just hear gobbles and keep tabbs on the birds! It is addictive to the bone! I can't get anything accomplished during turkey season. The grass in the yard was thigh high, the dogs were skin and bones, and the cats took to the woods to fend for themselves!

Spring Turkeys
well you are probably 'ruined' as far as most females and many of your male friends will think. They know I am 'no good' during March and April. I hope you are still after them 46 years later like I am. Turkey hunting is the crack cocaine of hunting. Once it's in you it sticks. I heard my first gobble in the spring of 1966 on Tickfaw River in St Helena Parish . I wish you luck and a long and happy career turkey hunting. There is nothing else that compares in the outdoor world. When you get as old as I am you will go more often but you will enjoy it more whether you get one or not. Its about the chase and the beauty of the spring woods.
