This place was home to many bass tournaments in the 90's! It fell off the map for a few years but it's coming back strong!! I remember when a 16-17 lbs stringer wouldn't make you much money!
Yes sir! I took this pic at the public boat launch under the des Allemands overpass! There is grass starting to grow in mud lake again!!!! Years ago I caught a 25lbs 10 oz. stringer out of there!!! Can't wait to see what the future holds for this place!!!
Glad to hear the grass is coming back. Mud lake was a great place to take kids and mop up on the perch when it was full of grass. NOt a bad place for pouldoo and ringnecks either.
