I went to make an afternoon hunt and upon arriving at my tree where I left my climbing stand on the bottom of tree, I found my seat ripped off of my stand. I was hunting bayou teche nwr. Would this be a bears doing? I can no longer use my climbing stand because my seat is torn to shreads

That be's a bear . Don't b mad @ them. They are a native species and the wildlife guys are doing what they do, conservation. We are guests in the woods. You can get another seat. They ate the tires clean off my deer cart at Tensas. I was not mad. I smiled, Lil bast....s.!

I'm not mad at the bear. Just not sure why they feel the need to destroy my stand. Guess its like a toy to them to play with. I've seen 4 bears out there this year. Guess I can't leave my climber in the woods overnight anymore. That's messed up with what happened to your cart.

Ya must !Handeld that stand an food at the same time!! Cus they don't damage to just damage! they are just gut hogs, all the time hungery as heck and if they smell food on the seat they are gonna try to find it !! Bears are constant eaters, and as the cold starts they get even MORE hungry!! LOL just like Hogs and Kids LOL
