Duck dog training?

Reply

I know this question has been asked on here already but I figured I'd ask again. I bought a yellow lab this past August and was planning on training him myself but work picked up alot and simply do not have time working dawn to dusk. I live In the Houma area but I am willing to travel a bit. Anybody know of a GOOD trainer that's worth bringing him to? I don't want to do all the field trials but I do want a damn good duck dog. I looked at a few places online just want some advice or recommendations. Any help is appreciated

Call Jerry and explain your situation. He does obedience for many breeds of dogs. Tell him what you want and he will be honest if he can do it. Good guy.

Trainer
Chuck McCall at Chumac Kennels is one of the best, websites don't train dogs nor do youtube videos.
Look to pay $550.00 - $650.00 per month for a good trainer. Check references with multiple people who actually know something about dog training not just guys who hunt.

Terrell Bourgeois
Does anyone know anything about Terrell Bourgeois. I heard he was a very reputable dog trainer and highly recommended. If someone can give me some info on him and how to contact him, I would greatly appreciate it.
