Not sure about the little campground. I don't pay attention to what I'm not looking for. Here's a screen shot of the interstate and a mark with the boat launch marked too. Maybe that will help you find it. Oh, FYI, downriver from the boat launch will always be the direction that the water is flowing......LMAO. Or, if you are looking out into the river at the launch its right. Be very careful. Use your trolling motor a lot. Mark the heck out of the entrance as you come into the lake with plastic marker tape so you can find it to get out. I have spent a lot of time trying to find my way back to the little cut. The waterway off the main river isn't much more than a creek. The waterway from the creek to the lake is even smaller. There is a weir that lays submerged up the smaller creek. The water flows out of it pretty darn strong. At the current level your boat should pass over the weir. It is very tricky to fight the current coming through the little dam. Resist the urge to use your motor. I float my 18 foot Ranger w/150hp in there, so you will make it. Since the water is high, most of the grass beds are submereged. The grass looks like moss to me. The bass are hiding under that moss. I use a chrome rattle trap just over the beds. The fish dart up out of the moss and nail the bait. Good luck . Please please please, be very careful.
