Anybody ever fish the banks of the Mississippi in Baton Rouge for catfish? Thinking of taking my two boys tomorrow and don't know exactly where to park/cross levee/fish. I heard it's pretty good when water is up. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated! Thx!

Due to the high levels of the Mississippi River there are restrictions by the US Army Corp and backed up by law enforcement. I would ask tge Sheriff's Office first before you find out the wrong way.

How about the landing in Port Allen? There's a parking lot, paved walkway across the levee, and a snowball shop a block away. Sounds like a recipe for good times. It's at the foot of Court Street.

Hey buddy we fish on the levee every year the river comes up we do good but must important thing is no vecales on the levee other then that the levee board are the cops never told us anything man

We fish the Darrow area and convent by the old 4 wheeler track
