No .....I just removed it after I posted it. I thought you were meaning one of those Walleye boats, like they have up north. Is that the kind you mean?

I'm seeing them around town & on the water. It's all aluminum, wind shield mid way or so. The Hanko company makes a lot of them - very expensive. Maybe I need to look at fiberglass as you mentioned. steve

OK...now I know what you are talking about. Espeacially now that I know where you are located. Lotsa people got those in that area. Thats where they are made.(most of em). Yes they cost a lot. They also take a huge motor to push them because they weigh so much. I wouldn't mind having one if I had a lot of cash though! You can give a boat like that to the next 3 generations and all they will have to do is put a new engine on it. Very tough. Keep an eye out for a fiberglass boat with the windsheild. It will be easier on fuel and easier on fuel when you tow it. You just moved to a great fishery. Also some darn good hunting too. The hunting is harder because of the swamp, but the fishing isn't too hard.

Got a bunch of those in the classified here. Search boats/dual console boats. Got one (a scully's) for 8K with no motor.

& it's on to fiberglass for me :) That much $$ and still needing a motor - I'm not that rich. Thanks for all the help - I'll scour the net for other than the hanko specials.
