Not too bright
Having that youngster on the front deck while underway. You hit an underwater obstruction he goes into the water then you run him over. I have a friend with propeller gashes in his back to prove that it can happen.

Vic...is right, you hit a object at 40mph the passenger go foward and the slowed up boat goes over him at 'only' 26 mph ???...I'am a survivor that went 'under' a boat still hanging on to a broken tiller...

Me negative ?
I wasn't being negative about the safety of a youngster. I have twice in my lifetime hit semi submerged floating objects. One was a timber from some construction a 6X6 about 16 feet long that was about 3 inches under the surface and the other was a cypress log that a storm i am guessing dislodged from the mud and was floating about 6 inches under the surface. You never know, thats why you DO NOT take chances. I don't want to hear about anybody being maimed or killed. And when I can say something to maybe prevent it then I will. If I come off as a jerk. I don't care. End of this thread for me.

...wonder if some ever seen a railroad timber floating vertical three inches under water...also there are dozen of semi-floaters that do the same thing... but never put fun ahead of safety...but the big 'no no' is hugging that left shoreline in the blind with a left turn coming up...I admire his enthusiastic determination but not his judgement...(JIS,I agree...'ya just lost a couple of brass buttons)...cheers

Accident waiting to happen. All it takes is a slip of the hand and your ran over or running over the boat. Very wreck less to. Disabled does not excuse ignorance. Im glad we will never be on the same waters to put my life in danger
