I got my new sportsman yesterday. He s a keeper coming in at 10lbs even. Went through a rough spell with mom for a little while but mom and baby are fine now. Now I just have to figure out how to raise a little one. I just hope he loves the outdoors as much as I do.

GREAT !!!
Being a dad is not easy . Do what you think is right and do your best so that you can look anyone in the eyes and yourself in the mirror and know that you did your best. Put your wife and children and dogs ahead ahead of yourself. They are what matters . Each child is different. Each should come with it's own seperate 'owners manual'. I raised 4 and I was the oldest of 4 .

Congrats on landing that big, healthy son! The fact that you are in his life from day 1 is a huge plus!!! My only advice is this...Never under estimate the value of time spent with your son. I feel like kids are left alone too much these days and the TV and video games become the babysitters. A boy needs a daddy to serve as a role model and to just be there for him. Listen more than you talk and he will never stray far from your side. Glad everyone is doing well!
