I shoot 150 grain Magnus Stingers on my recurve bow, although this year I am dropping to 125 grain. I am going to shoot them in my finger compound I set up for this season too.
In my Parker Hornet Extreme xbow, I shoot the same 150 grain Magnus Stingers. Right now I am 3 and zero on kills and all of them piled up in sight. Quite a few more could have been too but I let a lot walk. I think the xbow is just another tool in the arsenal, but with experience I can say it is easy & not much of a challenge- nevertheless, mine will occasionally be out on the hunt. I'm going to give the finger shooting bows more time this year.
As far as heads, just my opinion- not meant to start a heated debate, I would stick strictly to a good fixed head, and concentrate on keeping them very sharp. Even semi daily while at the camp, humidity alone will round those microscopic keen edges.
