Federal waters

So I just heard about how the gov. shutdown is closing all federal waters. So where can I fish, and where cant I fish? I'm fishing Manchac the next 2 Saturdays.

where did you hear that they were closing federal waters to fishing? seems impossible

Not just Federal waters, any Federal National Wildlife Reserve. I can't Bow hunt where I wanted to until the Gov't shutdown is over.

All Water ways on a Federal Park is for the time shut down. All Federal Parks in louisiana are also shut down.

Soooo, Snapper season is shut down?

So we all need to be looking around across America! Every shutdown , government training area etc always tells us a tale. They're up to something else! Don't be fooled!!!

When the government shutdown first surfaces, Louisiana land was set to be closed. Luckily, yesterday Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has a press release stating that all lands will remain open to hunting and fishing. Louisiana Sportsman published two articles on their website about the government shutdown letting us hunters and fishers know our rules.
