2/4/14 : Terrible Fog

Reply

Captain Jack had the pleasure of fishing today with Vic from Courteousy Honda along with his buddies Jeff and Ave. The visibility today was terrible due to fog. Some parts of the day there was no way you could even see 150 feet in front of you. Even with these horrible conditions Jack and crew still landed their limit of Trout and Reds. All trout were caught on Matrix Shad Lemon head Reds were caught on dead shrimp and Matrix lemon head. The trick was fishing the bottom reeling in real slow.
Captain Jack has been a guide since 1996 and takes pride in this job and really enjoys doing this. He is a great guide and will fish his butt of to make sure his customers catch fish. If you want to get in on the action give him a call and I guarantee you will be coming back for more.
Right now Jack says once the water temps get in the 50s he guarantees you will limit out on trout and reds.

Thanks for the great report. Very encouraging after the rotten weather we've had. One thing I have learned about you Jack, if they can be caught in Delacroix you will be all over them first. And you aren't selfish when in comes to the how, when, were and on what. Thanks for all you do. Your friend Spechound.

Thanks Spec hound. Captain Jack couldn't get them today though. He went out with Captain C.T. for a fish and game report. They tried for trout, on top and bottom, they did not bite today. He said they caught a few here and there. They limited out on Reds in Oak River. Reds arejust as good as tey have been.
