Launched out of Sweetwater yesterday morning. Went to oak river it was slow. One keeper red a few undersized reds and a few specs. As soon as the sun got nice and high the water temps in the shallows went up to 54 degrees. You know what that means. The trout really turned on. Even caught quite a few on a mirrodine twitch bait. Also caught a bunch under a clicking cork using chartreuse Dudleys. Need any more info, check with Captain Jack. He WILL put you on them.

When the sun comes out and warms the water up, the trout will move into the shallow. Get out of oak river and fish the bays near by. (pointe fienne, bay jack nevette, etc....)
