There are two drag lines making a canal in the Pen on the west side where it enters Bayou DuPont. They take dirt and put it in the Pen making a canal along the west bank with new rocks. My question is why not put this mud behind the rocks that they just put into place. Why put it out in the Pen. Now this is the kicker they did this over a year ago and came back and put this mud back in the canal they had made. Now doing the same thing again what is going on. Makes no sense to me to keep digging a canal and then filling it up but what does an old fort like me know. PS think this canal is being dug out so that the monster dredge can come into place. This deep canal would be great for fishing.
