Classifieds Update

We will be making some big updates to the classified section of the site overnight. Tomorrow you will see a different layout in that section. Please use this thread to provide any feedback, questions, criticism or report any bugs.

Please update the marine forecast section. There has to be a better way of presenting the data, other than just offering random links. I think there would be plenty of people that would appreciate the change, increasing traffic to the site.

Don't like the new classifieds everything is to jumbled up.

The only problem I have with the new format is its now more difficult to spot a scam ad at a glance. Before I could easily read the description without actually opening up the ad. It was just easier to delete the scam ad in the old format, this adds an additional step of making sure the ad is truly a scam ad and Im not deleting a valid ad. Overall though, I do like the new format. JB will understand what Im talking about.

looks good just wish there was a preview of the add details to be able to see if it IS something of interest

When you are logged in as an admin you see the entire ad, you also see other info that makes it easier to spot scams.

The reason for stripping these items out of the view for other users is that we are transitioning to a mobile-friendly layout. We have to move to a single larger photo, and larger text in the list of ads.

The next update will make the classified section change to fit your screen automatically.

Ummm, no, I for one do NOT like the new format at all. As previously stated, it's harder to spot scams, you have to open to find out if is anything of interest and seems more labor intensive to use than before.

I can't say this is an improvement if this is the final product.

I don't like it at all. No descriptions until you click on it that sucks

I do a lotttt of buying and selling on the classifieds. I do not like this new update. As stated before, you can not see a preview. If I'm looking for something particular, i do not have the time to go through every ad individually versus just scrolling down the page.
