Opinion on Anchor

Looking for opinions on an anchor for a 22' bay boat. I have one for sand but need one to hold in mud. Need it to hold even when water is a lil choppy. Thanks.

Get a big one, chain and a lot of rope
Most people don't have enough line or chain to hold in sand. When you drop your anchor over don't set it until you have drifted back 12ft or so. Most people try to set an anchor as soon as it hits bottom big mistake. Also a must put some type float on the end of your rope as it will save your anchor one day. Never to big for that size boat.

anchor
What I do when the wind is blowing or the tide is strong. Go buy a 5# mushroom anchor and a stainless steel carabiner clip. Clip it to your chain where it meets the rope it will never slip again.

Fortress anchor
The best anchor is the Fortress. They are light but set quickly in all conditions.
