What's a good asking price for my boat?

I would like opinions on a good asking price for my boat. It's a 17'6 predator bass boat, with a 150 mercury black max xr4. I just put all new carpet in it, a brand new trolling motor , 3 brand new batteries, brand new livewell pump, it has a hot foot, plenty of storage, good trailer, papers on boat only, a laser 2 prop on it. This boat has great hole shot and jumps out the water. The only bad thing is the top cap when I got or was bad off and had almost no paint so I painted it with a yellow oil based paint like I was told and now it flaking off. Other than boats sweet. What do y'all think I should ask or get for it?

Boat and motor are both 89 model. Everything's solid and motor was rebuilt 4 years ago

unfortunately that boat is close to 25 years old. Doesnt add much value if u recently rebuilt motor. All the add ons cant hide the fact that its still 25 years old. Then there is the issue of the cap.

I agree with sam. $3000 would be as high as I would go but that would be only if I HAD to have a boat.
No passenger seat, paint flaking off and 25 years old makes it worth $2000-$2500 only. All the rest of the stuff you mention does not make the price go up. IMO.....

no papers on trailer?
Your post mentions that you don't have papers on the trailer-- that's a red flag to a lot of buyers, and a dealbreaker for many. Get paperwork on the trailer in order and you'll have an easier time getting $2500-$3k. If you decide to part it out, that trailer with papers could get a nice percentage of the total.
