GETTING CLOSE TO 1,000 SIGNATURES

Readers, our Chalmette Refining Petition is now at 960 names. I certainly had hoped we'd be well over 2,000 by now. However, when we reach about 1,050, I think we'll call it quits and publish the petition. I'd like about 50 above 1,000 as some did not fill in their address and I'll have to e-mail them to please send in their address.

SO, PLEASE continue to talk up the petition so we can reach the 1,000+ names soon.

ALSO, I'll announce when I post a letter which I have completed the first draft of today. It is addressed to the CEO's of every Oil Refinery which has facilities in Louisiana. I'll announce when I have completed the letter and posted it on our website.

I already did it without thinking twice.

I signed it and I hope it helps but I doubt it.
I talked to a friend the other day that works for the other refinery in chalmette (valero) and he told me that they will sone be no longer making anything but diesel they are now in the process of shutting down all refining of gasoline.

I am glad to see almost a thousand names Pete but when I suggested this online thing to you I would have thought you would have ten times the name by now. What is wrong people If you own a boat or a lawnmower your name belongs here Please don't be lazy sign up people//////mike
