What a weekend we had, we tore the redfish a new one.... 4 man limit on Saturday and went back on Sunday with an extra deckhand in hopes of a repeat and we were not disappointed, 5 man limit on Sunday. What a great 2 days of fishing.

We stumbled upon a small point between bayou Chene and the Avery, that they were holding on. There was no rhyme or reason for them to be there they just were!!! LOL

We were using shrimp on jig head fishing the bottom, and my boat is green.....LOL

Were they bayside or inshore? Not looking for specific spot just want to know how far in they are.

They were inshore,holding off of a point. Sent a friend there on Tuesday and only caught 3.

Thanks. Ive only had one trip like that and man was it fun. We stumbled upon a spot and left with 20 in an hour. All 20 inches plus. Went back next day and they were gone. Good to hear someone's catching though.
