Minn Kota vs. Motorguide

What is yalls preference? I have always owned Motorguides but i am thinking about going to Minn Kota. I am between the Motorguide 75lb tour edition or the Minn Kota Maxxium 70lb. I have the Motorguide 82lb tour edition now but it is gettin old and has left me on the last three trips. Let me know what yall think.

Mounts are important believe me
I use my trolling motor almost every day and never turn it off. Most bay boats use them to locate there spot then drop the power pole. If you use your motor on high all the time you fish you better have a good mount. Get the best nuts you can find as the small ones will pull through the glass. I use to have a special aluminum plate to protect my motor from pulling out. Have owned both and no problem with the motors only the mount. I have never been able to like the slight delay you have on the M Kota but it also helps your balance so a good trade off.

Iove my ipilot. Not only can you spot lock and it will hold you in position but with remote you can fish back of boat and control it. Worth every penny.
