what scope

I have been experiencing problems finding a scope that will hold-up on my 35 cva elite stalker. Have had simmons and bushnell and neither have held. The simmons held for a couple years and the bushnell didn't make a whole season. What scope will hold-up with that big kick.

I got an Omega on my 45/70. Once I put locktight on the screws it hasn't been touched in 3 years and can drive tacks.

I have a redfield revolution on my h&r .35 wheelen.
Has been shot about 25 -30 times never had to adjust, also took a drop down an iron lader when my dad steped on the strap climbing down his box. Has a dent in the objective edge, didn't have to adjust.

I agree with him^^^. The new redfield scopes are nice. Same as a leupold with out the big money. I have DNz mounts and redfield rev in two of my rifles and they are Awesome!!

It all stars with the mounts. Check that your rail is secure and overspend on the best rings you can get.

I have the Cabelas branded scope (Pentax I think) made specifically for shooting the 45/70 Hornady Lever Revolution 325gr. Once zeroed at 100, the next two aiming points are on for 200 and 300. Have not tested the 300 yet but the 200 is on the money. I am assuming they put one out for the 35 as well.

Only about $100.
