Why Are Gas Prices So Cheap?

Because global oil supplies are exceeding demand, caused by increases in U.S. oil production, struggling economies elsewhere, and OPEC flooding the market?

The real question is why are all of those prices that went up because of higher gas prices not coming down now?

Well since Obama gets blamed for everything I'm going to say it's his fault. Lol.

Just a thought of another contributing factor of why gas is getting cheaper , maybe cause they ain't selling as much as they was , with the economy so BAD , maybe people are not driving as much because they can't afford it , maybe a lot of people have lost their jobs and or their vehicles , maybe people that worked far from home found that it is better to work closer to home for less money than pay the oil companies ------ a friend of mine was clearing $500 a week and burning $40 a day on fuel , so he cleared $300 a week and he drove an extra 10 hours a week to and from work , so he put in 50 hours to make 40 , he quit and took a job close to home and has a lot more time of his own and says he has more money in his pocket

You're 100% right.....there are still over 12 Million American that are either unemployed or under employed and can't drive like they used to due to cost. That, PLUS the much higher fuel mileage of newer vehicles and the HUGE volume of crude oil and natural gas being recovered from shale due to hydraulic fracturing or 'fracking' are all having a huge effect on gas consumption.

so are u saying its obama's fault. Maybe its bush's fault. All I know is my truck and boat is liking the prices.

you would think cheap gas prices are good? yes and no?? it will effect the economy good and bad! there could be a lot of layoffs, killing the stock market and economy!! that's why opec is flooding the market driving the price down!! we're having an oil war right now!! to much supply and not enuf demand! oil will always rule the world, but probably will eventually ruin the world!! global market forget that!!! we got more oil than all the opec countries got put together!! if we quit buying oil from them, they will collapse!! let them eat their sand and oil!! our economy will go crazy!! the problem we got is to many deep pockets got to filled in this government! things will never change as long as they have them pockets!! go figure!!!

cant say this is his fault, but everything else and his cronnies sure is for sure!!!!
