Spammer

A spammer posted on a lot of old posts and caused them to be brought up the list. His account and comments on all the posts were removed, but it leaves the old posts near the top.

It's a never ending battle to try and keep the site clear of these idiots.

spammers, seems like ya'll getting more and more of these idiots every day! we appreciate the job ya'll are doing and we know its probably an impossible job! these guys need to get a life!! thanks to all of you!!!

Hey Chris why isn't some type of criteria required which makes it more difficult for spammers to gain access. One of the other great sites I visit requires u to make a certain number of valid hunting and or fishing related post before u get free classified privileges. I love the site but see very few of the quality posters on here and endless scam and junk ads in classifieds. Many times when I click on something now I get redirected to one of the ads scammers have attached to something on site. I try to avoid most of the site now other than just browsing and I used to be a regular poster. Boy it would sure make moderators jobs a lot easier, make site better and more valuable and make people want to participate which is value.
