I bought this 1974 Honda XL250 Motorsport pictured below and I am doing a restoration on it , I always want a Honda Fat Cat which was made in like 86-87 and this bike found me , I don't know anything about the big wheel conversion kit that is on it , it wasn't homemade , the old guy I got it from doesn't remember who the kit came from , says his son bought the bike brand new in 1974 and the kit was put on a couple of years after that , I have search the net for info and can't find another one like it or any mention of it ------------Anyone ever see one like this ?????

Did a few things since this pic , I got it running after cleaning the carb and running it on the fuel bottle you see on the handle bars as the tank was rusted , since that I acid flushed and plastic lined the tank with Kreem Tank Sealer ------ I think that Missile Engineering built the kit , they were taking over by Big Wheel Conversion years back , BWC don't answer the phone or emails , they send you a reply email saying we are not taking orders at this time ---------- I have really searched the net and can't find any other one like this ----for being 41 years old it is in great shape

Thanks beast , I like it so far too , I really wish someone knew the history of the big wheel conversion kit that is on this bike ---- I think what it is , is there was a company back when called Missile Engineering that would build this kit for any model bike on a one by one order , if they didn't have a pattern from a previous build then you had to ship the bike to them , I know the kit was bought and shipped so there must be another one somewhere , Missile was taken over by Big Wheel Conversion and they don't answer calls or emails ------------then again this could be the only one of it's kind left
