I believe it's #100 per vehicle. And you can use a 4 wheeler, it's a fair ways to try and walk it. Not to mention hauling gear and ice chests.

Been a few years since I went, but the gate you have to go thru to access the ponds was just wide enough for my 4 wheeler to fit. Way too narrow for my trailer to go thru.....Just a heads up.

It's a LONG walk. Some people put their stuff on a wagon and hoof it, but I would strongly recommend a 4 wheeler.

ATV is best. Keep your load light. Before I had an atv i would ride my bike. Even with an atv all i bring is 20 nets, a stick, a bucket, a sack, my melt (already cut up), a small backpack with some water and snacks. I bring a towel that I soak with water and put it on top of the sacked crafish to keep them cool. Nothing more. A trailor won't fit through the gate unless it's real narrow. 100 lbs is the rule. Do a search of 'South Farm' on this forum, and I have a bunch of posted info on the farm. Bring the kids. Teach em how its done.

of course. Every person out there can be on an atv. Make sure they are of legal age to be on it, and don't go past the signs that tell you not to ride, don't ride stupid on them, and the game wardens won't give you any flack.
