I helped Capt. Rob Dupont out with a 10 man trip on Friday morning. With three boats originally scheduled, one guide fell sick in the middle of the night which left us to running 5 people in each of our boats. No problem at all as we handled this trip with ease! With a front passing through, high winds, and dirty water everywhere...we knew catching big fish was our best option. At or first stop, we found unlimited bull drum and a falling tide! Cracked crab on bottom was the ticket! We made a few moves looking for reds with no success, so we decided to try our first stop once more. That was the ticket! The tide had also switched and was coming in! We found just what we were looking for...HUNGRY REDFISH! Our light tackle equipment had us with some pretty good fish fights on our hands. What a fun day and a fun crew! Thanks again to Capt. Rob for setting the trip up! Give us a call for your next fishing adventure. The bull reds should be pretty active through the month of April as well as the trout bite picking up with the warm weather. Good luck fishing!
