Re: Props
Personally I like Powertech props and the support from them. If you call them and give them the details, Boat hull, motor, type of running you typically do they will size a prop for you. There are a lot of variables to work through to get the optimum performance out of your prop. Things to consider, what kind of hole shot do you require, fuel economy, top end speed. There are trade off's you should be aware of when selecting your prop. Good luck. I'm sure the people at Powertech can help you in your selection.

Thanx guys for comments

now to answer your questions, I have a 20ft Majek Extreme which cross between flats boat and bay boat,150 HPDI Vmax, i have a 4 blade wheel on my boat now and with full load i can run about 52mph, i had a 3 blade wheel that i bought from local prop shop, it was used wheel but it had all been redone, i was able to get 58mph at 5800rpm with it, but my podna hit the boat ramp with the tip of the blades and the wheel has never been the same again as many times that i have brought it back to the shop, very frustrating
