I live in Prairieville and have a 10ft two man boat looking for some new spots to fish anyone out there have any ideas ?

you got a motor on it??? if so what size??? really, no matter what size motor I would just fish in a pond with that!!! think u gonna need a bigger boat!!!!

Yeah I know I've been looking at bigger boats and don't have a motor I was looking for a spot I could just slid in till I get a bigger boat

Or if I could find a wing man with a big boat looking for bass I would be down I take my bass fishing Serious and have for the last 20years

maybe sell it and get a Kayak. if that is an option. we are always fishing somewhere. we are in Prairieville also.

Launch at any of the many canals along old Hwy 51 between Manchac and LaPlace you can fish under the I 55 bridges or Hwy 51 canal.

You could go to the camp ground on Hwy. 16 in Port Vincent and put in there. The canal leads out to Colyell Bay. May have some luck beating the banks. There's also a bait shop in the parking lot.

You have some choices for Yaks Hobies or Native Watercraft Propel. Pack & Paddle will do Demos on Saturdays if you call them and schedule it.

also Massey Outfitters in BR will rent them daily
