If anyone is interested, the power-point I gave to the Commission on August 6 with the preliminary results of the 2015 Louisiana Waterfowl Hunter Survey has been posted on the LDWF website at:

Mr Reynolds
I read your power point.
I don't think that the survey accurately represents the opinion of hunters on the northern boundary of the coastal zone.
Everyone here in Evangeline, Allen, and even Jeff Davis want to be out of the coastal zone and back in the east zone.
I wish there was a more productive way to get obtain a greater percentage of hunter's opinions.
Furthermore, youth hunts on Oct 31, Nov. 1 are a waste in our area. There will be little to no birds at that time. The youth hunts, imo, are scheduled at times that give the young hunters an advantage and a better chance to kill birds. The youth hunt will consist of skeeter swatting and boredom. I say let the true coastal hunters stay coastal, but get us out of it (coastal zone).
Thanks for all you do.
See you in Alexandria.
