I have not rode in a Nuatic star but what I can tell you is that my dad recently purchased the 24 pure bay and it is by far the best riding, driest, and most comfortable bay boat out there. so many guides are are starting to switch over to them because they are so great, I have fished 50 miles out in the gulf with this boat with no concerns. Been in 3-5 ft white caps due to getting caught in a storm and it performed flawlessly. We run 38 mph with 5 people 80 gals of fuel and full fish box of ice. AND still get 3.2 MPG. Boat tops out at 62 with 3 people and ice. If you fish offshore also, the fish box on the floor can hold so many fish you wouldn't believe, I have fit 10 cobia 10 Red snapper, Mangroves and triple tail all In the same box with ice and had more room for other fish. More dry storage than you could possibly need. Boat is great, hands down, drive the extra mileage and go with the blue wave. trust me. You will not be disappointed.

Forgot to add that this is with the 300 Yamaha on the back. Another thing is when you are in choppy seas it sounds like the boat is about to crack on other boats, NOT this boat, solid as can be and a very dry ride.

Been around this boat business for many years and if you follow the history almost all the so called best boats are no longer on the the market. But one think they all seem to have in common they were cheap. I would sure look at the boats that have been on the market for years and are a prove good buy.
