Isopod. Can find them attached to fins on fish in brackish water. We used to scrape them off gar hooked in where the fin meets the body.

actually isopods tend to latch onto the inside of the pogy's mouth. We catch hundreds of pogies with cast nets in Pass Christian. And usually if the fish is over an inch its almost guaranteed to find an isopod
