Hard to tell from the picture but it looks like an oyster toadfish.

Was going to say a goby but, unless you are holding it out away from you, it looks too big for most goby sizes.

we always called them oyster fish, watch the teeth sharp as razors

That looks like an oyster toadfish for sure. DO NOT stick your fingers in it's mouth. They are called an oyster fish because they can crush an oyster shell with their bite. They hang out in the rocks along the side of the road and around the little bridges.

FYI,
If they get big enough, you can cut out their jaw muscles. They make delicious little fish nuggets!
