Heading to Dularge this weekend fishing new areas

I'm heading down to the camp this weekend with a few friends to do some fishing and hang out. I have been fishing around mud lake, deer bayou, and lake merchant recently with little luck. I am going to wake up saturday morning early and go try some new areas. My first move is heading straight for Taylor's Bayou, Bayou D'west, and fishing areas in there. Does anyone have any advice for this area? I'm going to be fishing it hard around Mudhole Bay, I've never fished out here before so any input is greatly appreciated thanks and god bless

I made a pass through that area this past week and didn't catch a trout. there is some reds along the banks though.

Capt. Tommy, historically are these areas good this time of year?

I have caught plenty trout in October in those ares, but not in Mudhole Bay, I usually just cross over into Bay Junop fishing the reefs. Alot depends on the wind. I went two weekends ago with the wind kicking from the north and struggled big time, but those areas are always worth a try.

I should have also said Capt Tommy catches about a million more trout than I will ever catch, that man can flat out fish.
