While bow hunting in Tensas I spotted two young bucks coming to my climber. They were very wary as they kept looking and smelling in my direction. I did my best to remain still and arouse as little suspicion as possible. After 10-15 minutes I here something walking through the brush. I see the two bucks heads pop up and I knew another deer was coming. Within seconds I see a massive antler emerge from the brush. After having a light panic attack. I prepared for a shot as the buck stepped out broadside. However due to the attention I was getting from the other two bucks I had to hold off on the shot. The big buck then got very nervous and bolted back into the brush. Two more does came out and over the next 20 minutes I could see the big buck working his way back out. He stepped out at the same spot as I came to full draw. He was looking directly at me and I felt that it was the last chance I would get so I aimed low and released as he ducked right into the shot.
