Location,location. Very high tides and 75 degrees this morning and ducks by the hundreds. Mostly gadwall and teal but pintail,widgeon,redheads and spoonbill were giving the kids chances today. They got their birds and scared a lot too!
High water did not affect the grass. The grass is still thick in our area. We are looking forward to a great opener next weekend. Haven't seen this many birds so early in a long time. We still have a few dates available for a great duck hunt.
