Been hunting Richard k yancey for a few years now during the thanksgiving rifle season. Haven't had much luck so today we and a buddy went scout. Found some decent areas trying to not crowd any old flagging trails that we came across. But we did go down an atv trail that seemed pretty unused. Didn't see many flags along it and found many trails crossing the roads but the trails were had to find in the woods and the trees were very low hanging so my fear is that once you climb a tree you won't be able to see much. My main question is what are the rules for the distance that I have to be off an atv trail? Or if I can hunt the trail itself. I understand I am going to have people possibly pass along the trail while I'm hunting which I'm fine with because I think I can see some animals crossing. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
